Here at Fairfield Garage, we carry out vehicle diagnostics that cover most types of vehicles. We use traditional equipment and up to date Diagnostic Scan Tools. We also use a Pico Oscilloscope to diagnose and repair faults.

Diagnostic testing has become a major part of our activities, due to the increased use of electronics in the modern motor vehicle. Even a well serviced car can fall foul to electrical problems!. Most modern cars can have upwards of over 50 ECUs (electronic control units) to control everything from engine management to electric windows.
